Martel Posey

Martel Posey is a real bicycle enthusiast and a big fan of promoting healthy living in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. His love for bikes started back in the day when he was the go-to guy for fixing up neighborhood kids' bikes. His true biking passion got reignited when he joined The Spoke Folks, where he not only found his love for bikes but also discovered the power of community support and how staying active can make you feel like a million bucks – because, you know, health is where it's at.

Martel wears a different hat as a member of the DEI committee for the League of Michigan Bicyclists, where he keeps the West Michigan biking community on the right track. When he's not out biking or advocating, you'll find him working as a case manager at Health Net of West Michigan and being a cool community buddy at AYA youth collective, helping young folks aged 14 to 24 get hooked up with the resources they need.
